This a family site, and therefore you are strictky not a customer and I am not selling you a service. However, it is reasonable to describe my basic approach to the site management and its contents.

For the following terms - 'Family Album' is referred to as FA, any member using the site is referred to as 'user'.

1. All images remain the copyright of the user.

2. FA retains the right to alter any image uploaded by the user for the purpose of better display
- i.e. cropping, desaturation, rotation, sharpening, compressing. The original image will be retained without alteration.

3. FA may delete any member's images uploaded to its database for the following reasons:
To improve grammar
To match formatting style of the site
To more accurately tag the image in terms of content
In most instances a replacement image will be sourced or created with the member's knowlege and/or input.

4. FA reserves the right to alter any descriptive data supplied with an uploaded image for the following reasons:
To improve grammar
To match formatting style of the site
To more accurately tag the image in terms of content
5. Any original image uploaded by a user will also be copied to an offline backup.

6. The user may request the removal of any of the images they have uploaded. FA will comply within 30 days of this request. Any offline copies of the imagery will also be deleted if the user so requires.

7. A user of the site can only access the site and upload content to the site by becoming a site member. To become a site member requires a potential user to register their name, password and contact details via the online registration form. The user must also agree to FA's Terms and Conditions and Subscription to FA's mailing list. On FA's admin approval, the applicant will receive a confirmation email notification of their successul membership status.
